How Peacocks See Their Feathers: The Royal Society has a new exhibition which shows the difference in what we see versus what animals see. For example, birds can see ultraviolet so when they are looking at a potential mate, they would not see the beautiful rainbow of greens and blues that we see, rather they would see a plainer yet more brightly colored display of plumage.
